a three-dimensional collection of vertices, edges, and faces create a dynamic polygonal show in ‘complex meshes’, an installation by miguel chevalier for art brussels 2016. numerous wireframe meshes overlap and evolve, transforming continuously in a colorful weaving pattern that changes in real time. these vivid grids disrupt perception, as well as highlight the loft location’s architecture through light. the kaleidoscopic experience of ‘complex meshes’ symbolizes the infinity of nature, its setting becoming a universe in its own right.
