‘hand & heart café’ is a specialty coffee shop located on the second floor of freitag popup store, in bangkok, thailand. the cafe’s personal motto ‘let’s start making with your heart, then your hands will brew all the rest’ is printed on the large circle window which stands at the center of the room. this positive attitude sets the scene as the viewer enters the pure, minimal interior. designed by party / space / design, the café contains a clean and simple aesthetic, using aluminium furniture and stark white walls. the simplified nature of the space places emphasis on the food and coffee which is made at the bar. the ‘hand & heart café’ can be seen from the street from its white cube outline and circular window which mimics the shape of a small bird box, inviting one to pop in for a bite to eat.
