sustainability is a primary concern for contemporary architects and designers. new homes and buildings are integrating sustainable ideas and pushing the boundaries of green design. building from scratch is easy, improving the existing infrastructure is a much more daunting task; this may explain why it so often avoided. the now house project has been developed with this is mind.
