oficios asociados construct blacksmith workshop + architecture studio in argentina

oficios asociados is an argentinian practice who work within the fields of furniture design and architecture. the firm was set up by a group of friends, including blacksmiths, carpenters and architects, with the aim to bring value into their projects through a focus on woodwork craftsmanship. their original studio wad an old shed with a parabolic tin roof, which they replaced with a steel structure that extends down to the bottom of the construction.

the open veranda

the interior features a series of desks lined against the wall, allowing natural daylight to filter through the overhead windows. the opposite side of the construction features an open veranda with vertical wooden panels positioned to form a complimentary facade against the glass windows. this feature provides privacy, by establishing a harmonious balance between interior and exterior, allowing members of oficios asociados to work in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
