london design festival 08: karen ryan at designersblock

this year saw the move of designersblock to covent garden. spread over more than 10 000 square feet the event displayed the works of sixty UK and international designers.

at the event british designer karen ryan launched her new collection ‘boarded up’. consisting of a series of wall lights, floor lamps and chairs the lights use her signature style of brightly colored graphics. vintage chairs were also converted into pieces of art through the addition of planks of wood.
