‘MORIYAMA-SAN’ is the latest work of artists, filmmakers, and producers ila bêka and louise lemoine whose ‘living architectures’ series shines the spotlight on acclaimed buildings and their inhabitants. the film follows the daily life of ‘urban hermit’ mr. moriyama and his secluded dwelling at the heart of tokyo. ryue nishizawa’s architecture affords mr. moriyama with the freedom to decide how to use his property, depending on the time of day, climate, or his mood. these activities are captured in the 63 minute movie, which will have its on demand launch later this month. stay updated on bêka & lemoine’s website here.
