edwards moore creates mirror mobile bars that adapt to their surroundings like chameleons
the series of mobile bars is designed to fade into their environment.
prefer designboom on googleaiming to achieve the image of bars fading into the environment, edwards moore designed a matte white, powder-coated welded steel frame with perforated steel shelving and integrated LED lighting. the piece was assembled and welded in its entirety prior to being powder-coated, creating a seamless frame to support the cladding.

the internal detail of the unit is given as much consideration as the eternal cladding. a white resin top appears paper thin, especially when lit from above, wrapped in a mirrored cladding, which vanishes beneath the surface.

the 4 units can be reconfigured to suit a variety of functions
edwards moore designed mirror surfaces, which create a chameleon like effect, adapting to its surroundings and enabling the units to be used across various spaces. push hinges and embedded magnets enable the unit to operate in ‘open mode’ if required without any visual fittings or fixings.

mirror surfaces create a chameleon like effect
mounted on heavy duty, lockable, multi-directional castors, the pieces can be easily moved to suit the configuration required. the four units can be arranged in a number of ways to suit their various functions. the bars were designed for william angliss tafe in melbourne and manufactured locally by polymath fabrications.
