in collaboration with the sound designer of parisien adorable studio jérôme echenoz, vincent leroy has developed the ‘double echo’ installation, a fine combination of sound and motion. like a shell, the installation produces the sound of the sea with its smooth shape and move.

double echo’s shape is free and fluid, distant from the real world. in a natural environment, the wind rushes into the big cones to create a pressure and echenoz and leroy’s piece starts to slowly and continiously rotate.

double echo is assembled like an aeronautical typical skeleton — the sculpture occupies any empty space with grace. with its palette of curves, the installation spreads its wings with sensual delight.
