showcased in 2017, the ‘B1’ is an all-electric sport utility truck that, even before hitting production, marked a more efficient, greener option for the vehicle segment. as mentioned, even before reaching customers, bollinger motors have now revealed its big brother, the ‘B2’. this truck offers similar electrified performance but with even more cargo options.

with its prototyping scheduled for early 2019, the bollinger motors ‘B2’ features a bed of 1.25m wide by 1.8m long. the cab tailgate can be lowered to carry 1.2 x 2.4m sheets of plywood, with the rear glass also opening up to allow storage from the top of the cab. overall, it will offer a hauling capacity of 5000 lbs, making the green vehicle an exceptional workhorse.

sharing the same DNA as the ‘B1’, the new truck is equipped with sport dual motors, all-wheel drive, hydro-pneumatic suspension and in-wheel portal gear hubs. this is as well as the 120 kWh battery pack, which will deliver a range of 200 miles with tops speeds of 100 mph, 520 hp and 514 ft-lb of torque.
