use of liquid crystals that are sensitive to heat, electric, magnetic fields etc that manifests this sensitivity by changing colour or going transparent depending on the type of liquid crystal used.
ambient temperature, body heat, cellphone radiation , all cause colour changes. The furniture thus reacts to the user.
