through the visor of avid youtuber jordan studdard’s ‘astro helmet’, new york’s times square was seen as a galaxy. the texas-born creative modified his electric skateboard using humble materials, such as cardboard, duct-tape, solo-cups and LED lights, turning an ordinary board into a faux-rocketship. donning an astronaut suit and whizzing past stunned tourists and yellow cabs alike, studdard ignited imagination in passers-by as he casually cruised through times square.
