oskar zieta: ‘fidu’ bench at DMY berlin design festival 09

the fidu bench by oskar zieta has been constructed with metal sheets, taking advantage of CNC production and fidu technology (free inside pressure forming). the result is a lightweight construction designed for semi public and private space. the fidu manufacturing technique allows industrial manufacturing with an individual, custom made result. structural elements can be manufactured within a range of 400 up to 3000mm.

the bench was on display as part of the allstars exhibition at the DMY berlin design festival.
