Taking as inspiration the simple forms of tableware and cutlery, the handle is made from a cast porcelain and finished in a white vitreous china, providing a surface that is durable and easy to clean as well as resilient to heavy use. The lever stem would be made from precision milled stainless steel square stock and the edges would be filleted smooth to make the piece safe comfortable to the touch.
