hublot’s ‘big bang millennial pink’ is a timepiece for an inclusive generation

swiss luxury watch brand, hublot, has revealed the latest version from their ‘big bang’ range, christened ‘millennial pink’. designed in collaboration with garage italia and lapo elkann, the gender-defying timepiece is designed as a symbol of a completely new generation. to mark the unveiling of millennial pink, hublot enlisted copenhagen-based motion design studio, frame, to create a short product film of the new watch.

the tone of the film was designed by frame to reflect the true spirit of the millennial pink timepiece, which is not in the exclusive realm of women, nor that of men. this special hue marks a seismic shift towards a more inclusive society, which will change the status quo: established traditional values are being reconsidered through a lens of positivity.

pink – this satin-finished and polished millennial pink anodized aluminum – expresses a gentle, inclusive and confident approach to life. a fresh, young vision, full of substance, which redefines style. the combination of photoreal CG, split screen layouts and 2D typography creates a dynamic aesthetic that conveys the bold, youthful spirit of the product, while still honouring the sophistication and craftsmanship of the hublot brand. in addition to the pink aluminum case and bezel, the piece features a mat millennial pink skeleton dial, a velcro strap, and a sport buckle clasp in polished millennial pink anodized aluminum. the hublot big bang millennial pink retails at $20,900 USD.
