designer's own words:

the door viewed from the front executes its function through rotation against the z axis, and the door handle executes its function with the x axis rotating against the y axis. the interpretation about axis is the beginning and the end of “xy” design, and the intersection of x axis and y axis adds hanger functionality to the door handle.
