watch moodhay get a colorful surprise in the 'PUSH IT' short film

featuring fluro leotards and an 80s-inspired aerobics class, director holli rae has created the perfect music video to accompany the sound of ‘PUSH IT’ – the latest track from los angeles based artist moodhay. the short film begins with moodhay as he endures the daily grind in LA. he then discovers a colorful surprise at his last job of the day… the five minute piece is reminiscent of that iconic scene from 1980s film ‘perfect’ featuring jamie lee curtis and john travolta, and of course eric prydz’s 2004 music video, ‘call on me’.

based in los angeles, artist and director holli rae tackles projects with her adventurous approach, attention to detail and ability to evoke emotion. not only a director, she often wears the hats of producer, creative director, stylist, editor, graphic designer, and whatever else it takes to get the job done. aside from the ‘PUSH IT’ video, rae has also directed a feature-length documentary, ‘the goddess project’. when she’s not making a moodboard, holding a camera, covered in paint, or editing her latest project, you can most likely find her dressing up for a costume party or hopping in a hot spring somewhere in the wilderness.
