bright, colorful and easy-to-assemble, koshitsu-dana is a set of lightweight partitions that construct private workspaces within existing rooms. its playful design proposes a new alternative for office environments during COVID-19 as well as other public spaces where there is a need to socially distance. with an arched entrance, each structure can be assembled individually or as a series of multicolored shelters.

first and foremost, koshitsu-dana is made from lightweight polypropylene which has high durability and is easy to wipe clean. weighing just 9 kg, it is easy to construct your own space by simply connecting the six panels to the joins. sized 179 x 90 x 180 cm, the structure can be assembled and installed in any room.

once assembled, the private and clean space can be used as a calm sanctuary for rest, games or other hobbies, or used as a quiet, focused space for work. power cables can be passed through sections cut out at the bottom of the partition panels, and users can even pin or stick notes to the internal architecture.

the private partitions are available in a rainbow of colors – yellow, orange, gray, white, black, brown, green or blue – and is made in japan by tachibana.
