openess

designer's own words:
this is an approach at how an ideal tool should work. moleskine notebooks are basic tools if you want, but they can convert into more complicated, sophisticated ones too. they are always open to be filled with ideas, thoughts, to do lists, moments, phrases, drawings, and on and on. and this is the concept behind this logo: openess. the circle symbolizes an open moleskine and the m extension symbolizes the characteristic bookmark. this logo, just as what it represents, can work on a basic level, but is also works with writing, drawing, painting, strokes, ripping, cutting, pasting, doodling, and other "moleskine" treatments.
