‘compasso’ by studio asaf weinbroom
focusing on designing and producing handmade lighting fixtures mainly from wood, studio asaf weinbroom has produced a unique limited edition pair of compasses. conceived with only one arm, a pencil is inserted to function as a second axis.
‘the rotation of my main working tool – the lathe machine is echoed through the pair of compasses. I value a lot the simplicity, accuracy and intelligence of measurement tools and that’s how I found myself sketching one of my own’.
