‘bottle #600’ and ‘bottle #750’ by israeli designer yuval tal is a family of two carafes designed for israel-based studio ooga. meant to serve water, wine or any other beverage, the concept behind the bottles is based on the idea of using traditional materials and technologies in a different combination. the iconic shape of a standard wine bottle is maintained, while a new division is made between the vessel and the cork top. here, the cork becomes an integrated part of the bottle design rather than just a simple tool for preserving your beverage.
