originally debuting at the 2012 CES in las vegas, south korean LG electronics has announced that it will begin accepting pre-orders for its 55-inch WRGB OLED TV this month with deliveries scheduled to begin in february 2013.
measuring only 4 millimeters (0.16 inches) in thickness and weighing less than 10 kilograms (22 pounds), the eco-friendly OLED TVs produce vivid and realistic pictures using WRGB technology and LG’s unique four-color pixel system which features a white sub-pixel, working in conjunction with the conventional red, blue, green setup to create the perfect color output. the 55-inch screen also offers an infinite contrast ratio, which maintains optimal contrast levels regardless of ambient brightness or viewing angle.
