The team continues: ‘The caterpillar module is equipped with an Enviolo hub gear. The translation of the chainrings was chosen so that both 7 km/h uphill and 25 km/h on level terrain can be ridden with a cadence of 60-70. In addition, the gear ratio can be varied again by selecting the front chainring. The brake disc attached to the drive pinion makes it possible to bring the caterpillar to a complete standstill by actuating the brake.
