werner aisslinger has collaborated with german brand FLÖTOTTO on a series of modular furniture objects. presented at imm cologne 2013, ‘ADD’ employs a unique plastic joint system (patent pending) which offers two major advantages: it allows one to connect individual timber profiles – which also hide the hardware system – to form the structural frames of each piece; as well as bring forth a new and simple installation technique, in which these components feature fasteners that easily clip onto and off other parts such as the front, side and back panels.available in a range of colors and self-contained units, the implementation of this network allows the user to easily modify and extend the furniture to various lengths, depths and widths according their needs.
