designed around a stem and base system, a single wire-frame base unit accepts a range of interchangeable stemmed accessories that when joined, become a complete object or piece of furniture. conceived by portland-based studio von tundra, the ‘young americans’ collection explores ideas of modularity and mid-century form through a contemporary lens. the series consists of a lamp, stool, and table – illustrating the potential within a functional relationship.
