0E1 architects designs modular bars to fit celeiro de ases' stadium in porto alegre

0E1 architects’ most recent project is located in one of the main football stadiums in porto alegre. the newly designed bars of the ‘celeiro de ases’ have been planned to meet three main guidelines: time, cost and visual unit. to implement 14 different bars arranged in a radial organization, the use of prefabricated components has been the strategy adopted.

brazilian based office 0E1 architects‘ work should adapt to variations in each of the 14 commercial modules. in addition to the dimensional flexibility, the assembly process would occur without interrupting the operation of the bars, demanding an agile and planned execution. a unique modular system, capable of solving 14 different situations, has been created in order to reduce costs and execution time.

the system consists of modules that vary according to occupancy requirements. measurement variations are absorbed by a margin around the prefabricated modules. in addition to following the guidelines of cost reduction and execution agility, the materials help in the creation of a language that guarantees unity and the legibility of the set. metal tiles are used for the closing of the modules, expanded aluminum sheet for the ceilings and black granite for the countertops.
