120 grammi builds 'INDUSTRIÆ', an exhibition exploring 100 years of porto marghera

designed by 120 grammi studio and held in venice’s VEGA, the exhibition ‘INDUSTRIÆ’ tells about the manufacturing process and the production cycles of 100 years of working activity in porto marghera, focusing the attention on the production capital gathered over a century, a cultural heritage of knowledge one can find in objects and facilities. the exhibits are captured into a big translucent cage surrounded by schemes and the history written on the wall.

120 grammi’s exposition conceives porto marghera like a big device, where workers, business, knowledge, culture, and production are closely connected, constantly developing in the pursuit of integration and innovation. the place is steeped in stories of workers, social achievements, emancipations, awareness on different issues. all aspects that, depending on the historical moment, have been analyzed, exalted, and criticized are shown.
