starchitects like zaha hadid, renzo piano, rem koolhaas and frank gehry have been re-interpreted as 8-bit characters in a series of digital portraits by bolgnese architect and designer federico babina entitled ‘archipix’. from examples of jean nouvel situated beside his famous ‘torre agar’ to toyo ito and his ‘porta fira towers’ in barcelona, the collection of images depict each architect in dramatic video game-like renditions. to see the full list of pixelated architects, scroll below.
