russian firm 8D architects presents ‘modern moto’, a conceptual motorcycle-oriented showroom, restaurant, and retail complex. the structure is a combination of various functional areas organized around a large, centrally-located atrium. the program includes a showroom/ exhibition area, 100-seat restaurant, billiard room, retail, and a full moto-service center with associated necessities. in front of ‘modern moto’, is the ‘nesterov loop’, a sculptural architectural element that displays signage and select bikes — as well as solidifies the store as a landmark.
