a work of substance has used containers as a celebrator of sustainable architecture, and a multifaceted, strong symbol of a logistics company, such as that of goodman westlink. in building the company’s marketing suite, the agency has created a modular construction with the flexibility to adapt to an evolving site. the suite’s six different spaces are formed by four shipping containers, creating a building which can be collapsed and transported, leaving minimal imprint on the original landscape.

the inherently industrial aesthetics of the containers has been softened with the extensive use of glass, which allows potential clients to have an overview of the surrounds as it brings light and tropical backdrops into the space. at the same time, the combination of glass with timber adds further softness to the steel frames of the containers, and establishes a harmonious relationship with the surrounding nature.
