a small, unassuming homeopathic therapies center has been recently finished in berga, spain. undertaken by catalan architect agustí costa, the building is used by professionals attempting to reinvent the health sector by moving in a direction of social, natural, and holistic principles.

the spaces directly mirror the slow philosophy of the doctors who work there, conveying warmth, comfort, balance, and harmony. instead of white washing the entire interior, as is common practice in most healthcare facilities, costa chose a bright color palette more closely related to eastern cultures than western traditions. the distinctness of the clinic is disarming and encouraging, with a mindset of humility and patience rather than extravagance and prescription medication.
