located in a secluded position on a four-acre site, the Airship002 by roderick james architects has one bedroom, one bed and one bathroom and can host up to two people. the dwelling is modular and sustainable, as it’s made from aluminum, meaning that its parts can be handled and assembled by one or two people usually within a week. it can be also dismantled and erected again when needed. also, because of its modularity, the structure can be customized, allowing for two bedrooms if needed.

the roof has been designed to collect rainwater, that then is fed into storage containers under the floor. the house is equipped with an insulated shell, and has photo-voltaic panels which electrify the cabin. the star feature is of course the double-glazed window that makes users feel as if they were commanding their own spaceship.
