in addition to a great hall and museum store, the structure’s main level contains the scheme’s primary gallery space, culminating in an interactive cyclorama that reflects on the history of service in the state. the lower floor contains support, presentation and education facilities, as well as room for temporary exhibitions. a private remembrance hall is located on the uppermost storey, adjacent to the exterior sanctuary area, which is approached by a sweeping ramp. this exterior civic room serves as a ceremonial and memorial space for the region’s community.
