a new aerial video of apple’s campus 2 project has revealed the current state of the vast cupertino site. taken by skycore, the footage shows that the foundations are now complete, with work moving ahead on the first levels of the ring-shaped structure.

 

designed by british architect norman foster, the 260,000 square meter office and research building will house a 1,000-seat auditorium, an on-site power plant, underground parking, and a 9,290 square meter fitness center. at the heart of the design, a central garden will offer the company’s 12,000 employees outdoor dining areas set amid hundreds of freshly planted trees. apple forecast that on-site construction will be complete by the end of 2016.
