BAM! has shared their latest project, ‘CI336 house’, a expansive pool house in san isidro, argentina, designed to cater to each one of the family members. described as a conjunction of pure and simple volumes, the communal areas consisting of the living room, dining and TV room, flow seamlessly as a single space to open onto the garden and lagoon.

BAM! devised the organisation of the home following the south-facing orientated position of the building. inside, each of the family members have their own defined space. the services including the laundry room, toilets etc are located in the volume with the concrete base, which subtly dematerialises towards the north. textured concrete, wood and glass were the materials chosen to finish the home and picked for their low maintenance and durability.

as the project is a new build, the building’s sustainability was carefully thought through. 90% of the spaces receive constant natural light, exterior views and cross ventilation. in turn, this is beneficial in terms of energy, economically, but establishes a comfortable environment for the family.
