rising over brighton beach in the UK, the 162 meter high observation pod – the ‘british airways i360’ – has reached its maximum height of 138 meters as a test in anticipation to the attraction’s official opening this summer. designed by british architecture firm marks barfield architects, the moving observation tower will be the tallest in the world, with each ‘flight’ facilitating up to 200 visitors per turn. its unique location will offer a 360-degree view over the coast, the city itself and in turn, breathe new life to the seafront area.
