‘villa k’ by cell space architects all images courtesy cell space architects

japanese cell space architects recently completed ‘villa k’ located on a hilltop in the karuizawa villa area in nagano, japan.

the villa consists of four floor sections and four roof sections around a central pillar. the floors, on different levels are connected to the outer space through windows in order to provide 360 views for the residents. sunlight comes through the slits between the four roofs highlighting the division of inner spaces.
