the children toy library in bonneuil-sur-marne, france was designed by LAN Architecture. the building

is a public building that also provides an area where children can play. it is located in an area where
social housing from the 60’s have a strong physical and social impact. in order to keep with the
surroundings they used new facades on the existing building and added a monumental entrance.
the building consists of two levels. the exterior is green tinted raw concrete that looks like wood slats.
the original concrete structure inside was kept and revitalized by adding different variants of color
focusing on warmth and open space, as natural sunlight comes in from three sides.
