Manuel Cervantes Estudio & James Perse design Brandilera House

The Brandilera House, designed by Manuel Cervantes Estudio in collaboration with James Perse, is situated along the Pacific coast in Nayarit. The design emphasizes a central garden area that integrates seamlessly with the surrounding natural landscape, offering expansive views of the sea.

The property features a series of independent structures strategically placed across the site, each connected through pathways that blend with the existing vegetation. This arrangement creates a dynamic interaction between the built environment and the natural topography. The house‘s layout prioritizes the integration of outdoor and indoor spaces, with a focus on the natural elements of the site.

Brandilera House’s design merges simplicity and luxury

Covering 3,600 sqm, the house includes nine suites, communal living areas, pools, and a spa. The project, realized by Manuel Cervantes Estudio’s designers and James Perse, ensures a continuous connection with the exterior environment, incorporating the natural topography and local flora into its layout.

The architectural approach employs a restrained material palette, utilizing concrete for structural elements, wood for windows and furniture, and pigmented walls to complement the landscape. The interplay of concrete, wood, and vegetation underscores the house’s commitment to simplicity and luxury, integrating natural elements as a key component of the design.
