CUPACLAD by CUPA PIZARRAS uses high quality slates that are sourced from 16 possible quarries, before being handcrafted by their skilled craftsmen. the material is the ecological option for façade cladding, being completely natural and not requiring any chemical products or additional treatment. as well as its sustainability, the slates are incredibly durable with 100 years of being fireproof, waterproof and high resistance to color fading.

the product is offered in two systems. CUPACLAD 101 uses invisible fixings to fit the slate, ensure the natural material becomes the main feature of the façade, and minimize design impact. this option is available in three designs – logic, random and parallel – which range from uniform patterns to random overlaps. CUPACLAD 201 uses partially visible fixings, where horizontally-aligned stainless steel clips support the slate and blend in with its aesthetic. this option offers the benefit of a faster installation.
