clustering a series of volumes around an inner courtyard typical of norwegian architecture, the form becomes integral with the rugged terrain. outdoor exhibitions may be held within the central space bringing nature into the museum experience and providing accessibility to other exhibits. envisioned as the fifth facade, the roof’s diverse inclinations and orientations allow daylight to be blocked within galleries while offering panoramic views from the cafe and auditorium.
