‘dream hub’ is the new international business area to be developed in yongsan, seoul. five architectural firms; foster + partners, studio daniel libeskind, asymptote, jerde partnership, skidmore owings and merill have been shortlisted to redesign the area. spanning over 140 acres ‘dream hub’ will include skyscrapers, 12 commercial buildings and 7 residential buildings. developers and investors hope that the transformation will encourage more western business and create a global city. construction is said to commence in 2011 and is expected to cost 28 billion USD.
