french designer emmanuelle moureaux has completed her fourth branch for the japanese bank sugamo shinkin. located on the corner of a prominent intersection, the building’s façade is defined by its rhythmic composition of twelve protruding cubes, which each contain a small elevated garden. a range of colors have been applied to the cuboid volumes, while seasonal changes are reflected in the planted vegetation. internally, sunlight is filtered through the foliage on the south facing elevation, establishing a warm and inviting atmosphere inside the bank.
