TOTO GALLERY・MA explains that erika nakagawa’s architecture is rooted in her never-ending quest to explore new architectural expressions. in order to create a place in which architecture and the neighborhood complement and seamlessly connect with each other, nakagawa conducts thorough research at the start of a project. the architect then uses large detailed models to explore the potential of different lifestyles within the spaces she is creating — a process that brings her both joy and creative energy.
