studio esrawe has designed a bar in the most important entertainment destination in mexico city — auditorio nacional. the project is located in an underground space roofed by a staircase, and has a special character due to its curved shape. the designers have created a brass counter and carved the back bar from the wall, while the ceiling reflects all the place’s happenings with its glazed artisan ceramic tiles covering.

esrawe’s intimate space is dimly lit by long lines of light scattered on the ceiling and hidden lamps glowing from behind the copper-colored tiles designed specifically for this project. the back bar is also illuminated along the perimeter; made of brass, it reflects the diversity of liqueur colors, while the glass bottles and glassware complete the interior.
