foster + partners has launched a series of activities that children can work on while at home during the COVID-19 lockdown. the activities have been designed to engage the imagination of children, with fun briefs inviting young participants to build their own cities or create ‘fantastical’ skyscrapers with their families. ‘over the next few weeks we will be sharing new activities for children whilst at home, away from school,’ says the firm. ‘we’ll include drawing, making, playing, thinking, reading, watching and other activities to keep them entertained — for at least a few hours!

the first four challenges involve designing a paper skyscraper, creating a model city, drawing trees, and architecture-themed games of exquisite corpse. foster + partners is asking participants to share their creations on social media using the hashtag #architecturefromhome and tagging foster + partners. ‘we’re hoping that you’ll enjoy making them as much as we did,’ says the firm. stay tuned for more challenges coming soon.
