the book, planned for general release in 2013, explores the role of the context in relation to contemporary architecture in present times and throughout history. the definition of context is more a question of scale, now that information is easily widespread through digital communications, the social and geographical context of structures now has a much wider reach and greater implications than ever before.

‘architecture is no longer quantifiable merely in terms of geography, culture and history, our contemporary context includes communication, collaboration, virtual networking, so how does new architecture, its designers, clients and collaborators create and become context for and of themselves? these are the topics we’ve aimed to explore in our new book and presentation.’ – fernando romero, founder of FR-EE.
