over at plataforma arquitectura, david basulto has just posted another great architectural project from south america. located in medellin, columbia, this public library was designed by giancarlo mazzanti. it is composed of three volumes designed to resemble the facets of stones (à la concrete rings). perched on top of a jungle-like hill, the building has a ‘king kong aesthetic’, according to david. the location only adds to the buildings impressiveness.
