While there are certainly some merits to the design (the ‘disappearing pixels’, for example), the last thing Miami, with its climate, needs is a completely glass clad apartment building. Does anyone really think that the people living there aren’t going to have their blinds drawn constantly to keep out the light, glare, and prying eyes of adjacent buildings, like they do in so many of the luxury glass towers in New York initially marketed as these minimalist, transparent buildings?
