danish practice henning larsen architects and norwegian landscape architect gullik gulliksen have collaborated to produce ‘leüthen’s cultural garden’, the winning scheme to design an urban district in trondheim, norway. an open office building and cinema will join the city’s current theater bringing a vibrant element to the area. the two buildings will unify the district’s identity, bringing consistency to the existing educational and cultural structures.

covering 39,000 square meters, the structures are arranged around a communal square. glass walls enclosing ground level spaces will open to unify the interior and exterior, fostering dynamic interactions which may freely permeate through the site.
