hoxton square building by zaha hadid gains approval

 

 

the hoxton square gallery by zaha hadid has finally received planning permission despite opposition from the english heritage. the building is designed to house a gallery and some apartments with a 3,000m2 area. the planning process has been in the works for over four years and was finally approved on december 3rd. the structure will be hadid’s first permanent building in england. the building is aiming to be completed before hadid’s aquatic centre for the 2012 olympic games.
